About IFA Hong Kong
International Fiscal Association – Hong Kong Branch is the Hong Kong branch of the International Fiscal Association (IFA), the independent and neutral global network dedicated to the study and advancement of international and comparative tax law.
Founded in 1938 and headquartered in the Netherlands, IFA brings together tax professionals from private practice, business, academia, tax administrations and the judiciary to exchange views on international tax matters at the highest level.
IFA Hong Kong contributes to this mission by providing a forum for the Hong Kong tax community to meet, exchange ideas and engage with developments in international and Hong Kong taxation. The Branch organises technical seminars, luncheon discussions, conferences and other professional and networking activities, while also connecting members with IFA’s regional and global network.
Young IFA Network (YIN)
The Young IFA Network (YIN) encourages the participation of tax professionals in the early stages of their careers and helps them build meaningful professional relationships within the international IFA community.
YIN Hong Kong provides opportunities for younger members to exchange ideas, participate in technical and networking activities, and connect with peers locally and internationally. IFA Global established YIN in 2005, with activities developed at branch, regional and global levels.
Women of IFA Network (WIN)
The Women of IFA Network (WIN) represents and connects women working in international tax and supports their participation and visibility throughout the IFA community.
WIN Hong Kong forms part of IFA’s global WIN network and provides opportunities for professional exchange, networking and participation in IFA activities in Hong Kong and internationally. WIN’s global objectives include strengthening professional networks among women in international taxation and increasing their participation and visibility within IFA.
